Create a Successful Video Resume

Having worked in a game company as a 3D animator for many years, I found that I was gradually tired of routine job. I needed a new stimulation to go on my next career, and also to prevent from losing my job one day when I no longer possessed competitive skills. Therefore, I had tried to find new ways to market myself in order to impress future employers and make a career change. eSobi with its strong functions for information management seemed to be a great tool to help me reach the goal efficiently. I then decided to use eSobi to create a video resume emphasizing my advantages that would show my special features different from other competitors!

In order to know how to make a unique personal video resume, I first used eSobi Search to find teaching samples. Under [Advanced Search], I typed keywords "Video Resume" to check the websites consisting of suitable information. Then, in "with at least one of the words" I typed another keyword "animation" to limit search range. The results showed me more specific information that was really helpful!

When I ran out of ideas of more keywords, I noticed that there was [Keywords Proposition] down Advanced Search suggesting more words that I could use to refine my search. For example, it suggested "Video Game" and "Graphics" that might lead to results closer to what I needed. Thus I could use that function to save my time rather than repeat the same action again in Basic or Advanced Search.

eSobi Advanced Search helped me find many kinds of useful video resume-related websites. However, I could not read them all once. Therefore, I planned to collect them in library so that I could check each site later. When I found that would be the information I needed, I clicked [Save to My Clipped Documents] and instantly save the site into eSobi Library. Moreover, when I couldn’t finish the reading for the entire search results, I could save them to [Search History] and retrieve the information later very easily.

In addition to saving pages in eSobi Library, I also followed the news via RSS subscription. While I searched for more resume-related pages, eSobi's automatic RSS detection in the bottom informed me if the site was RSS-enabled by popping up its reminder. By simple-clicking the orange icon, to subscribe the relative news from the sites in which I was interested became so easy, and I could read them whenever I wanted in eSobi News.

I was aware that in the recent years, learning of animation or design became more and more popular. In order to follow the updated news about design exhibition or animation news, I subscribed to many useful sites via RSS feeds in My Subscribed Channels. More than this, I also forwarded the news to my friends who wanted to see the exhibition via mail. Just right click on [Forward via Email] under eSobi News, and the action was completed right away.

The integrated functions of eSobi software made my search become so convenient than before. By eSobi's help, I've got many interview chances and found a good job of my real interest. Now, eSobi definitely plays a crucial role on my job because it lets me work more quickly than other partners as well as complete the mission given by my boss successfully. I enjoy my working life with eSobi’s assistance because it indeed helps my plans and projects proceed very well in a smarter way!
